Requesting Assistance

If you need assistance at the airport, please pre-book the service before your flight. Our AccessAble guides will help you get organised and find contact details for all airlines.

If you need assistance at Manchester Airport, contact your airline or travel agent at least 48 hours before your travel date.

If you are unable to book your assistance 48 hours before your travel, don’t worry—we’re still here to help. Upon arrival, visit the Assistance reception points located in the check-in halls.

Travelling by air with a disability can feel overwhelming. We’re here to address any questions you have before your journey. This includes using your own mobility equipment, accessing airport assistance, and understanding airline procedures.

If you are travelling with your own mobility aid, you must always try to pre-book this with your airline or travel agent. Failure to do so may result in your mobility aid being unable to accompany you. Provide the dimensions and weight to your airline or travel agent in advance so that necessary arrangements can be coordinated with the airport handling agent.
