What is Drop & Go?

With Drop & Go at Manchester Airport you don’t need to worry about finding a parking space. Just drop your car and keys at the kiosk, and we’ll take care of the rest – so you can head straight to your terminal.

And when you get back? Collect your keys and pick up your vehicle from the nearby returns area. Simple.

Bookings are now open for our new car park, Drop & Go Express - P10. From the 2nd April, simply drop your keys off and walk to the terminal, instead of getting the shuttle bus.

How does Drop & Go parking work?

It’s quick and easy to book and park at a our Drop & Go car parks. Just follow 4 simple steps:

  1. Book in advance: Drop & Go at Manchester Airport is pre-book only, so book your space ahead of time.
  2. Drive up to the barrier: Our Automatic Number Plate Recognition System will recognise your number plate and open the barrier, while state-of-the-art inspection cameras record the condition of your vehicle.
  3. Drop your vehicle and keys: Pull into a bay, lock your vehicle, and drop your keys at the kiosk. One of our fully-insured drivers will park for you.
  4. Head to your terminal: Drop & Go - T3 is a 5 minute walk away, and T2 is just a a short shuttle bus ride away – they run 24/7. Drop & Go Express - T2 is a 12-15 minute walk, and T3 is just a 1 minute walk.
  5. When you return: Walk or take the shuttle bus back to your car park. Collect your keys from a locker, and your vehicle will be waiting in our dedicated returns area.

Directions from the M56
  • Exit the M56 at Junction 5 and keep right, following signs for T3.
  • At the traffic lights, go straight ahead for T3, passing the Hilton Hotel on your left.
  • At the roundabout, look for P16 Drop & Go signage. Go straight on, avoiding the ramp up to Terminal 3 Departures.
  • At the next roundabout, take the first left and continue straight on until the next roundabout.
  • At this roundabout, continue straight on to Olivia Lane.
  • The entrance to Drop & Go is on the right-hand side.

Please note: Drop & Go is signposted as P16, and is sometimes referred to as D&G.

What is the minimum stay in the Drop & Go car park?

The minimum stay for the Drop & Go car park at Manchester Airport is seven days. If you want to park for a shorter period, use our Short Stay or Multi Storey car parks.

Please note: These stay durations are subject to change due to car park availability.

What do I do with my car keys on arrival?

Arriving at Drop & Go at Manchester Airport is simple and hassle-free. Pull into a designated drop-off bay, secure your vehicle, hand over your keys at reception, and proceed directly to check-in.

Your car will be parked by one of our fully qualified, insured drivers, ensuring it remains stationary and secure throughout your trip.

Upon your return, retrieve your keys from a locker, and your car will be ready and waiting for you in our dedicated returns area.

Is there a vehicle height restriction in the Drop & Go car park?

The maximum height for vehicles using the Drop & Go car park at Manchester Airport is 2 metres (6ft 6in).

Are motorcycles allowed in the Drop & Go car park?

Yes, motorcyclists can book a space in our Drop & Go car parks by calling 02081 638001. Calls are free from both landlines and mobile phones.

What happens if I pick up my car late?

Parking outside of the days you have booked will incur an additional charge. For more details, see the terms and conditions.

Can I turn up and park at Drop & Go?

Drop & Go is only available for pre-booked customers. If your plans are flexible, you can opt for our Turn Up & Park options. However, to secure a parking space, particularly during busy periods, we highly recommend pre-booking.

Is Drop & Go suitable for Blue Badge holders?

Blue Badge holders can park in any of the JetParks car parks at Manchester Airport.
