The Manchester Airport Learning and Development team are an integral part of MAG, having expanded and developed over recent years to form a specialised training function. The team are instrumental in ensuring that the latest regulatory guidelines are met, as well as supporting all aspects of the business from Aviation Security and Driver Training to customer service and management skills.
We pride ourselves on being pioneers of new technology and innovation. Through our ‘train the trainer’ process, we are also committed to delivering the best possible training solutions, using a blended learning approach. This can include a combination of face-to-face, practical and eLearning, to name just a few.
Being airport based and delivering specialist training that is focused on “what we do”, we have also provided training for various UK Airports, overseas Airports, airlines, armed forces and a multitude of private companies. Most of which can be delivered at client premises or from our purpose built on-site learning and development centre.
Our Learning and Development team consistently strive for perfection in all that they do and fully appreciate that the most valuable investment for any business is the investment in its employees.
Our team are constantly updating their skills, through a combination of personal development, industry awareness, monitoring and coaching. We feel this is crucial in remaining at the forefront of a fast moving industry.
All of our team are experts in their own right and are recruited specifically. Our security trainers have many years of experience in both security and training, having all experienced the security role first hand. This enables them to offer both practical advice and support.
We can only offer such first class support and expertise by working with business specialists that really appreciate the operational, logistical and regulatory challenges that face the aviation industry.
We offer a variety of training rooms, which can accommodate training rooms of all sizes, from 2 to 70 people. The training rooms were purpose built in 2012 to a high standard and incorporate the latest technology.
