In response to the Government’s travel ban for all non-essential travel and the reduction in flight schedules, Manchester Airport has taken the decision to operate all flights from Terminal One from 00.01 Wednesday 11th November until further notice.
What safety measures have you put in place to keep passengers safe?
The airport has introduced a range of measures to keep all passengers and staff safe. These include wearing face masks, enhanced cleaning, perspex screens, bookable security slots and temperature checks (in Terminal 1). Details on all of the measures can be found here.
The airport also encourages passengers to watch this video before coming to the airport, to ensure they are as prepared as possible.
What happens if I’ve booked parking based on flying from Terminal 3?
Terminal 1 is a short walk away from the Terminal 3 Multi-Storey Car Park and there is wayfinding to direct you back to your car. All passengers who have booked parking from Terminal 3 will be notified of the change in terminal.
Which car parks are available?
Both Terminal 1 MSCP and T3 MSCP will remain open. Terminal 1 is a short walk away from Terminal 3 Multi Storey Car Park.
Free drop off is available at Jet Parks 1.
What if I have booked parking from Drop and Go?
If you have parked in Drop and Go, you will be contacted and notified that your booking has transferred to Terminal 3 Multi-Storey Car Park.
Will the Ground Transport Interchange (GTI) remain open?
The GTI is open 24 hours a day. However some services are still operating a reduced timetable. Please check before you travel and face coverings are a legal requirement on all public transport.
What do I do if I am transferring at Manchester Airport?
Passengers who are transferring at Manchester Airport will be required to clear immigration and collect their luggage before connecting to their onward flight.
Which shops are open at Terminal 1?
Arrivals: Spar, Boots, Greggs, Pret (take out only)
Departures (after security): Boots, WHSmiths, Pret (take out only)
What happens if I’ve booked PRM assistance?
For customers that have booked special assistance, it will automatically transfer to the terminal you are flying from. Please head to the special assistance reception point at check-in. The ABM staff will have your details and will be on hand to assist you through the terminal and are thoroughly cleaning wheelchairs after each use.
What happens if I’ve booked FastTrack from Terminal 3?
If you’ve booked a FastTrack pass with Manchester Airport, you won’t be impacted by the change. FastTrack passes will be accepted in all terminals for customers that have changed terminals.
