Owning a full airport ID card

Holding a full airport ID card at a MAG airport is a privilege, and you're personally responsible for protecting airport security at all times.

Responsibilities

Your full airport ID card must:
- Only be used in connection with your employment for your organisation, and not for personal reasons
- If you work for another employer at a MAG airport (MAN, STN, EMA), you understand that
- You must apply for a separate pass
- It must be clearly visible at all times while you are on duty, displayed on your: upper front torso, or upper arm
Be removed when you are travelling to and from work
You will not display your ID pass when you're off duty, either physically or digitally
Be shown to MAG Security when you enter a security restricted area, where it will be checked for validity
You understand that you may be asked to provide a second form of identification
Be shown on request to:
- MAG Security
- Compliance personnel
- Any authorised airport official

You must:

Safeguard your full airport ID card at all times and be accountable for how it is used
Ensure that all your activities are in line with your organisation’s authorised activities at the airport
Ensure that the photograph on your pass reflects your current appearance
Familiarise yourself with the access levels you have been granted, including what areas you're permitted to access
Inform your Authorised Signatory if there are any changes to your personal details, including (but not limited to):
- Job title
- Access requirements
- Name
- Address
- Appearance
Notify your employer within 14 days if you're charged with or convicted of a criminal offence

If your full airport ID card is lost or stolen, you should:

You should:

Challenge or report anyone who is not displaying a valid full airport ID card in a restricted (non-public) area
Immediately challenge or report any unescorted Temporary Pass Holder airside to MAG Security or your manager
Never allow your pass to be used by anyone else or allow unauthorised access
Report:
- Suspicious behaviour
- Security concerns
- Defective doors, gates or locks

You shouldn't:

Use your full airport ID card to meet, greet or escort friends, family or colleagues in airside areas without a valid business purpose
Wear or use your pass when travelling as a passenger, or use it to:
- Access secure areas
- Bypass security or immigration controls
Consume alcohol:
- Airside at any time (before, during, or after your shift)
- If you consume alcohol landside after your shift, you will remove your ID Pass
Allow anyone to tailgate (follow you through secure access points)
Prop doors or gates open at any time
