Private Hire Concession Scheme

Manchester Airport offers a Private Hire Concession Scheme, providing private hire drivers with discounts of up to 40% on published forecourt and car park charges.

New applications and renewals can be completed online.

How to apply for / renew your Concession Card

You will need to create a unique user account through our online AIRDAT onboarding system.

AIRDAT Registration

As part of the application process, you will need to provide the following identity and insurance documents:

  • A valid private hire licence badge, including the expiry date

  • A valid UK photocard driving licence

Concession card price

New applications and renewals cost £38.50. Payment must be made online using a debit or credit card.

How to change your vehicle registration

If you wish to change a vehicle registration, please email lst@magairports.com with your: 

  • Full name

  • Card number

  • Old registration

  • New registration

Replacement concession card

If your card has been lost or damaged, you can now purchase a replacement through the Manchester Airport Onboard (AIRDAT) online system. 

You will need to provide the following information 

• Full name 

• Card number or vehicle registration 

• Full postal address

Replacement cards will be charged at £30.00, payment to be made online with a debit or credit card.

Private Hire Holding Area

A dedicated holding area for private hire vehicles is available at JetParks 1.

Drivers can wait here for passengers before collecting them from a Short Stay car park and meeting at an agreed location within the terminal.

The Private Hire Holding Area is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

The following fee applies and is payable on exit: Up to 90 minutes: £1.50

Vehicles exceeding the maximum stay will be charged £50, with an additional £50 charge for each subsequent day.

Enter via the JetParks 1 entry barrier, then follow signs and proceed through the second barrier into the Private Hire Holding Area.

Terminal 3 – Drop-off and pick-up – T3 Over Height Car Park

Locations excluded from the discount scheme

The Terminal 2 upper drop-off forecourt is not included in the discount scheme, and full charges apply.
