Coach parking facilities at the Customer Transport Operations Centre (CTOC) are limited. 30 minute waiting time, at CTOC & 30 minute waiting time at relevant terminal included with permit purchase.

Coach Permits

There is no facility available to purchase coach permits on site. All coach permits are purchased via our online system located on the AIRDAT website. Here you can register your company, add your vehicle fleet and pay for coach permits.

Coach Drop off

Terminal 2 remains a free of charge service and will be situated on the front two bus stops on Palma Avenue. You must not pick up customers in the drop off zone the road system will be enforced with a Traffic Regulation Order and will be monitored by the police.

Terminal 1 Coach drop off free of charge up to 10 min.

Terminal 3 drop off requires permit £8 per drop off.

Coach Pick up

Please use AIRDAT online system to purchase a permit for entry into the pick-up area.

Please note that the pick-up area at Terminal 1 only has the capacity for 2 large vehicles, Terminal 2 only has the capacity for 3 large vehicles & Terminal 3 only has the capacity for 2 vehicles. If all spaces are occupied you may be asked to leave and return.

Prices

• Coach Permit - £25.00

• Minibuses up to 16 seats can use over height parking to pick up at Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 Relevant charges apply. Terminal 3 Minibuses can purchase a permit for £8 which allows them to pickup from T3 forecourt.

• Additional waiting time at Customer Transport Operations Centre £5 for 30 minutes, subject to availability.

Please ensure that you do not pick up in drop-off-only areas.

Health and Safety Rules to be observed at all times

• Speed limit in Passenger Transport yard area is 10mph – there are regular speed observations carried out.

• Hi Visibility vests must be worn in manoeuvring area. These are available to purchase on request see prices above.

• There is a one way system in operation, the second turning on the right is to enter and the first turning on the right is now the exit.

Coaches picking up diverted flights from Manchester

Please report to Customer Transport Operations where you will be issued a permit to access the pick-up areas in the relevant Terminals, you will be asked to provide details of the flight you are collecting.

Please ensure that you do not pick up in drop off only areas.

Coaches picking up passengers for Cruises

Please report to Customer Transport Operations through the usual process and follow the above guidelines for Terminals.

Please note that the Terminal 2 procedure has changed and you will need to gain permission to leave the Coach Welcome area and proceed to Terminal 2.
