Private Hire Concession Cards

Manchester Airport offers a Private Hire Concession Card which offers private hire drivers up to a 40% discount on the published forecourt and car park prices.

Renewals and new applications are processed online.

How to apply for / renew your Concession Card

You will be required to create a unique user account using our online AIRDAT onboarding system.

When completing your application, you will be required to provide the following identity and insurance documents:

• Valid private hire licence badge or PSV licence.

• Valid UK photo driving licence.

• Operator’s Licence (where applicable)

• A copy of your vehicle insurance.

• Your current card number (renewals only)

Applications and renewals will be charged at £36.50, payment to be made online with a debit or credit card.

How to change your registration

If you wish to change a vehicle registration, please email forecourtmanagement@magairports.com with your:

• Full Name

• Card number.

• Old registration.

• New Registration.

• A copy of a valid insurance document for the new registration.

Replacement cards

If your card has been lost or damaged, you can now purchase a replacement through the Manchester Airport Onboard (AIRDAT) online system.

You will need to provide the following information

• Full Name

• Card number or vehicle registration

• Full Postal Address

Replacement cards will be charged at £30.00, payment to be made online with a debit or credit card.

Private Hire Holding Area

A dedicated area for drivers of private hire vehicles has been made available at Jet Parks 1.

This area is for private hire vehicles to wait for passengers prior to picking up from a short-stay car park and meeting at an agreed location within the terminal.

Facilities include:

• Indoor seating

• Toilets

• Flight information display screens.

The area is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

The following fees will apply and are payable upon exit of the area:

Up to 3 hours - £1.00

After 3 hours vehicles must leave the Area or re-circulate back into the Area. If any vehicle exceeds the 3-hour maximum stay, a £50 overstay charge shall be payable with an additional £50 per day charge being incurred thereafter.

Vehicles should enter through the entry barrier at Jet Parks 1 and proceed through a second entry barrier to the Private Hire Holding Area.

Pick-up for over height or long wheel-based vehicles

Terminal 1 – Drop Off – T1 Lower Forecourt. Pick Up - T1 Arrivals

Terminal 2 – Drop Off and Pick-Up - Over Height Car Park – Over Height vehicles only.

Terminal 2 – Drop Off and Pick-Up – T2 West – Long Wheel Based vehicles less than 2m high

Alternatively, you can visit Coach Transport Operations Centre where you can pay for a permit to access the Controlled Bus lanes within the Terminal Forecourts.
