Amber Alehouse

Amber Ale

Designed as a tribute to Manchester pop culture, Amber is an outlet that develops throughout the day, in an energetic and musical atmosphere.

This spirit is reflected in its rough décor, strong musical influences and choice of brands (local beers rather than big brand names) An extensive selection of niche beers makes this craft bar the ideal destination for beer lovers and foodies. The food is unpretentious but of great quality, creating a comforting experience for all passers-by.

Apiary Bar & Eatery

The Apiary

ETM was founded back in 2000, with a single pub in Clerkenwell. Since then, the company has taken its passion for creating unique, exciting venues and opened more than 17 smart city gastropubs, contemporary brasseries, sophisticated bars and local pubs, collecting plenty of awards along the way.

Their ‘Made in Manchester’ drinks menu celebrates the culture and growing number of independent craft producers and gives them an international platform to showcase their products from the likes of; Three Rivers Gin, Thomas Dakin, Steep Soda Co, Manchester Still, Zymurgorium and Didsbury Gin to name a few.

The luxury artisan bar and eatery offers delicious breakfasts as well as lunch and dinner menus centred around fantastically exotic and exquisite seasonal flavours using locally sourced and in-season ingredients that are chosen to intrigue and excite. 

Archies at Manchester Airport

The Archies experience has grown from the original store on Manchester Oxford Rd to two stores on the street in Manchester and one in Manchester’s famous Arndale centre in their new food area redevelopment. The founders are Manchester “born and bred” and 75% of the products are bought from local suppliers based in Manchester.

Offering burgers, shakes and waffles, Archies are excited to provide their full experience to Manchester Airport, including ‘Celeb Signature Shakes’, Pink Bun Burgers and deliciously ‘instagrammable’ waffles.

Barburitto

Barburrito was responsible for opening the UK’s first burrito bar in Manchester’s Piccadilly Gardens back in 2005, offering quick, reliable service, responsibly sourced and freshly prepared ingredients, and the secret recipes they’ve been honing since day one.

Offering delicious fresh food customised to order and delivered with passion and personality, Barburrito also houses a great selection of Mexican beers to choose from, as well as digital order screens with simple selections to aide choice and speed.

The Bridgewater Exchange – Brewpub & Kitchen (Joseph Holt)

Established for over 160 years, the Bridgewater Exchange has been brewing at the same brewery since 1860 and has a rich history as an independent family brewer based in Manchester.

A highly recognised and well-trusted local brewing and pub company, with over a century of heritage and expertise, the Bridgewater Exchange is excited to work with Manchester Airport and brew a beer that is unique to the airport.

Grindsmith | Manchester Airport

Grindsmith

Grindsmith Coffee was established by local duo Luke Tomlinson and Pete Gibson in early 2014 with the aim of serving the best coffee in Manchester. From seed to cup, Grindsmith is committed to crafting the perfect coffee experience. The dedicated team spend every day roasting, tasting and perfecting the product.

This will be Grindsmith’s largest store and will incorporate the latest urban store design unique to Grindsmith to resonate with old and new customers. An increased range of food will also be offered.

KFC is the world’s most popular chicken restaurant chain, specialising in a wide range of freshly prepared chicken dishes. The Original Recipe Kentucky Fried Chicken, the cornerstone of the company’s menu, is its most popular item. Since the company’s inception over 60 years ago, the blend of 11 herbs and spices which seasons the chicken has been kept secret, and for good reason. No other brand has ever been able to duplicate the tender meat and irresistible savoury crust that make the chicken so delicious.

M&S Simply Food

Established in 1884, M&S is a truly world-class brand and a British institution. The Simply Food format is an iconic brand across the high street and travel locations.

The format includes a coffee and bakery provision, complimented with sandwiches, sushi, deli, ready meals, fresh produce and groceries, plus wine, beer and flowers. A full Simply Food range with an instore bakery offering fresh pastries and coffee to go is also available.

M&S Food to go

M&S Food to Go offers a selection of all-day food and drink products including wholesome wraps, freshly made baguettes, sushi, salads, freshly squeezed orange juice, beers and wines.

Hot food, such as bacon rolls, hot sandwiches and soups are also available as are freshly made pastries and cookies from the in-store bakery section. Customers can enjoy M&S coffee and other hot drinks from specially trained baristas.

Pot Kettle Black | Manchester Airport

Pot Kettle Black

PKB was set up in 2014 by two pro rugby league players who bonded over good food and drinks having both worked and lived in Australia. They believed Manchester deserved great coffee just as they experienced in Australia and were certain they could deliver it. Pot Kettle Black, or PKB as the store is more commonly known, is a speciality coffee shop and bakehouse in Manchester which is “comforting, relaxing and dedicated to quality”.

The menu is inspired from the founders’ world travels but has Manchester’s fingerprints all over it. PKB appears on every “top 10 all-day brunch” list in Manchester, and it has earned a few trophies along the way. Guests can choose grab-and-go items which are freshly prepared every day or a made-to-order meal.
