Everything you need to know about your Lufthansa flight from Manchester Airport
Lufthansa departures are running normally from Terminal 1
The Lufthansa check-in desks at Manchester Airport are in the landside T1 Departure Hall, just a short walk from all T1 car parks and public transport options. Follow airport signage for the quickest route to T1 Departures. It is also possible to check-in online from 23 hours before departure.
For passengers looking to take advantage of Lufthansa's twilight bag drop service, you can now get free parking at one of our car parks to do so.
Simply take a token at the entry barrier and proceed to check-in and drop off your bags. Attend the desk with your boarding pass and car park token to validate your token. Return your token at the exit barrier and the barrier will rise.
This service is available at our Terminal 3 Multi Storey Car Park, open Sunday - Friday 15:00 to 18:30 and Saturday 15:00 - 17:30 for flights before 7:00 the next day.
From Monday 01 December 2023
For flights LH949/2507 there will be no separate check-in desks, and customers will just proceed through the standard check-in process.
Lufthansa’s free baggage allowance is based on the route, fare and travel class you’ve booked. It is best to check your allowance before you leave for the airport to make sure that you’re within the limits.
