Pick Up and Drop Off for Blue Badge Holders

Passenger Drop-off

Passengers with a valid Blue Badge can access the Drop-off Zone free of charge for drop-off only. To use this service, the travelling passenger must produce their Blue Badge to the traffic marshals when entering the area.

A help point is available at the free drop-off location within JetParks 1 for passengers wishing to use the free drop-off and who need assistance, or for those who do not have a Blue Badge and would like to drop off free of charge. Our assistance providers will meet passengers who have pre-booked assistance at the forecourt upon arrival.

Passenger Pick-up

Please note that the pick-up process varies by terminal. Below are the designated pick-up areas for each terminal:

Terminal 2:
Customers should use the Express Pick Up Zone. Please note that there is a 15-minute time limit, and vehicles must not be left unattended. If you need more than 15 minutes or need to enter the terminal building, please use the Short Stay area on Levels 1, 2, or 3.

Terminal 3:
Pick-up is available in the designated bays within the Pick Up Zone of the T3 Multi Storey - P14.

How can I pay for my visit to a drop-off or pick-up area?

You can pay online: pay.manchesterairport.co.uk

Or by phone: 0345 901 3318

Payments cannot be made using cash or cheque. Additionally, no payment for our drop-off and pick-up areas can be made upon exiting, as there are no payment barriers in these areas. If payment is not received by midnight the following day, a £100.00 Parking Charge Notice will be issued, which will be reduced to £60.00 if paid within 14 days.

How long will I have to pay for my visit to the Drop Off or Pick Up area?

Payment must be made by midnight the day after your visit to avoid a Parking Charge being sent to the registered vehicle holder.

How do I pre-register an account and set up an automatic payment to pre-pay?

You can set up an account and add a payment card, which will automatically take payment after each journey through one of the barrierless drop-up or pick-up areas. To do this, please visit: pay.manchesterairport.co.uk

Please note it is your responsibility to ensure there is a valid payment method on your account before using a drop-off or pick-up area.

What happens if I forget to pay?

If you do not pre-register or pay as a guest before midnight the next day, a Parking Charge will be sent to the registered vehicle holder.

Can I pay in advance for my visit to a drop-off or pick-up area?

No, payment can only be made after you have visited a drop-off or pick-up area at Manchester Airport. To avoid a parking charge, payment must be made by midnight the day after your visit. Alternatively, you can create an account and add a payment card to enable automatic payments for each of your journeys. You can create an account by visiting: pay.manchesterairport.co.uk

I am unable to pay for my visit to the drop-off or pick-up area online what do I do?

I have received a Parking Charge; how do I appeal this?

Non-payment will result in a £100 Parking Charge, reduced to £60 if paid within 14 days. If you wish to appeal a Parking Charge Notice you have received, please visit the APCOA website.

Are Blue Badge holders exempt from charges in the Drop Off or Pick Up areas?

Passengers who hold a valid blue badge will be able to access drop-off areas free of charge please remember this is for drop-off only. To use this service, the travelling passenger must produce their blue badge to the traffic marshals when entering the forecourt area. 

Why is payment not showing on my account for my visit?

If you have set up an auto pay account, it can take up to 10 hours for payment to show on your account. If you have any concerns if a payment has been made or if you believe you have been overcharged, please contact APCOA by phone on 0345 901 3318 or email GeneralEnquiries.MAGParking@apcoa.com.
