Terminal and Car Park Changes at Manchester Airport

Important information for passengers and visitors

Important information about upcoming changes to Terminals and Parking

All passengers, except those flying with Ryanair, are now using our £1.3bn Terminal 2.

Terminal 1 (to be renamed Terminal 3 from 5 March 2026) - Ryanair passengers.

Terminal 2 - all other flights.

As we move towards a simpler, two-terminal airport, we're also updating our parking to make your journey smoother from the moment you arrive.

What's changing?

To make wayfinding clearer, car parks across the airport are being renamed to match the new terminal layout. This means some of the car park names you may be familiar with will change and be replaced with a simple, numbered system.

New car park names from 5 March 2026

From 5 March 2026, all our car parks will move to a new numbering system: from P1 to P16.

This will make signage easier to follow and help you quickly find the right place to park.

Already booked parking?

If you have already booked parking, please check your confirmation email or pre-journey information before you travel as your car park name may have changed.
