Supplementary Instruction

A Supplementary Instruction forms part of the Airport’s Safety Assurance process; as a means of timely notification to users, of any permanent change to the content of regulatory or safety critical documentation.

A Supplementary Instruction would be issued in the following circumstances:-

• To notify an urgent, safety critical or operationally significant amendment arising between routine updates

• To introduce a new subject

• To introduce a change to existing procedures or instructions, where an explanation or historical background to the subject is beneficial to the user
