Play Areas
There are soft play areas for younger children located in Terminals 1 and 2. These fun facilities were launched in April 2011 and are great for keeping the little ones occupied while you’re waiting for your flight.
Facilities include*
• Ball puzzle
• Treasure hunt
• Bendy mirrors
• 3D maze
• Variety of potential “assault courses”
• Slides
Good for the brain
Soft play areas are not only fun, they’re also designed to aid infant development in a number of areas such as spatial awareness, imagination, decision-making, lateral thinking, co-operative play and motor skills.
Terminal 1
The Terminal 1 play area is suitable for toddlers aged 3 and under. Located in the Departures Lounge next to the Runway Bar, opposite the entrance to Gate 20.
Terminal 2
The Terminal 2 play area has a dedicated toddler section suitable for under 3s, plus a zone for slightly older children. Located in the Departures Lounge next to Gate 213.
