Eating and Drinking

A mouth-watering wide range of places to eat and drink can be found in all terminals; choose from family favourites, such as Burger King or Frankie & Benny’s or we offer grab and go options for the time-conscious traveller. Manchester Airport are delighted to be trialling a new breastfeeding facility for nursing mothers in Terminal 1.  Manchester Airport promotes feeding across our site and we do not restrict where this can take place.  However, if a nursing mother would prefer a quieter and/or more private area, then they can make use of this relaxing and comfortable facility.

The breastfeeding facility is located in Terminal 1 Departure Lounge and allows four mothers to use the room at any one time.  Please note this facility is for breastfeeding mothers only and if they are travelling alone their young children may accompany them.  Opposite the facility is a Children’s TV Zone, so partners and children can comfortably make use of this area whilst waiting.  The facility also has electrical points to enable electric pumps to be used.

There is a baby change facility nearby and food warming facilities are available within the restaurants.

Water Fountains

Passengers are able to bring an EMPTY drinks container through security and fill them at the water fountains. These are located:

T1 - just after security search before the departure concourse, and by the toilets at passport control.
T2 - just after security search at top of escalators, and by the toilets at passport control.
T3 - by toilets on upper concourse (next to Lion and Antelope) and in the baggage reclaim hall.

Before going on holiday there is so much to think about. From car rental, ordering travel money online for collection at the terminal, to booking airport hotels, we really do have everything covered. Another essential that often features low down on a traveller’s list is travel insurance - don't leave home with it!

Manchester Airport Wifi

Free WiFi Access

We've doubled the free WiFi time available at Manchester Airport from 30 minutes to 60 minutes!

Free access for up to 60 minutes, in any 24-hour period. It can be used on all media devices within all terminals at the airport, lounges & Manchester’s Runway Visitor Park.

Manchester Airport Trolleys

To continue making multi-million pound investments in the airport when the cost of air fares are reducing, means that airports can't continue to provide services like trolleys for free.
