Taxi
It’s easy to take a taxi to Manchester Airport or arrange for one to collect you on arrival. Taxi ranks are to be found just outside all three Terminals, making it simple to find and arrange a cab.
You have 3 options;
- For all private hire taxis drop off is free of charge in the departure zones, for all pick ups this activity must take place in the car parks where charges apply. All private hires should be booked in advance and it is advisable for pick up to arrange to meet your driver in the arrivals halls where the meeting point is.
- Hackney Cabs are available outside all three terminals, fares for any journey taken inside the Manchester Licensed Area will be shown on the meter inside the taxi. For journeys outside Manchester there is no requirement for the driver to use the taxi meter to determine the fare. A published tariff of maximum fares is displayed at taxi ranks, and your driver will advise you of the fare (which is negotiable) before beginning the journey. - The Airport also have a contract with PCS Airport Transfers, they have telephones in the baggage reclaim halls, and desks in all arrivals halls where you can book your transport.
