Pet Travel Scheme

The Pet Travel Scheme (PETS) is operated by Pets On Jets, based in the World Freight Terminal at Manchester Airport.

PETS removes the requirement for certain pets to spend six months in quarantine on arrival in the UK, providing a number of conditions are met.

You can use the scheme not only to bring pets into the UK, but travel out of the UK with your pet without the need for quarantine on your return.

Strict rules apply to this scheme. At present it applies only to a small number of animals for transit from a limited number of countries with an approved transport company.
