Between January-December 2017 we have provided eight social events for retired people (in Wythenshawe, Heald Green, Bramhall, Knutsford and Mobberley) where we have enjoyed the company of 525 guests.

Bring Your Child to Work Day

Bring Your Child to Work Day

Each year 20 MAG colleagues get the chance to bring their Year 5 or 6 child to the Airport for one day. Hosted by the Community Team and Champion volunteers, the children get an exclusive tour of the Airport and a taste of different careers available, as part of the national ‘Bring you child to work day’.

World of Work Days

Delivered twice a year these events are designed to inspire young minds to consider their work options and to illustrate the skills and qualifications needed to achieve their goals. Airport Community Network companies support in the delivery of these popular events.

Masterclasses

Masterclasses

Our business is all about innovation and  technology.  In 2017 we offered 260 A Level students the opportunity to attend Master Classes in

  • STEM Science Technology Engineering and Maths
  • Customer Service
  • Information Technology

Students are lectured by sepcialists from the three Manchester Universities and Manchester Airprots Group. Interactive sessions industry specialsts such Jet2.com, Airbus, Radison Blu, John Lewis Laing O’Rourke and Ricoh provided more information inluding different careers paths.
