LATEST TRAVEL ADVICE – Travelling out of Manchester Airport

We are aware security queues have been longer than we would have liked recently, and are working hard to keep waiting times to a minimum.

We urge all customers to play their part in ensuring the airport experience is as smooth as possible by arriving at the earliest possible time for check-in.

It is also important passengers understand the latest rules about cabin bags, to avoid their hand luggage being rejected at security. Rejected bags can cause significant delays for all concerned.

Please ensure:

• All liquids and gels you are carrying are 100ml or less and placed in a clear, sealable bag

• All large electrical items are removed from your bag and placed in a tray separately

It also makes a significant difference if you minimise the number of trays you need to use, so please consider that when preparing to come to the airport.
