- To see Paris at its best, walk. Although public transport is quick and efficient, you’ll see much more if you’re on foot. Start at the Arc de Triomphe and end at the Ile de la Cite and you’ll encompass some of the greatest urban sights in the world.
- Nothing beats Paris at night – especially if you walk up the steps of Sacre Couer and look back on the city.
