What we fund


The Airport contributes £100,000 each year to the fund,see the below examples of what we are able to fund to give you a clear idea or what we can help with.

Please see some examples below of what we are able to fund;

Awarded Funds 

Tangible items. These are items that can be used by a wide community audience and have a longstanding benefit to its users.

  • Example of a tangible item that meets our criteria;
A local village hall in need of replacing it’s worn out chairs Users of the hall
Mums and Tots club
Scouts and guides
Over 60’s club
Youth karate club

 

  • Example of Environmental project work that meet our criteria;
Friends Group that wishes to restore an area of a park
 Users of the Park
Local community
Nearby community groups
Local sports clubs
Neighbouring Primary School for curriculum activities

 

What we are unable to fund


Unfortunately we cannot offer funds towards running costs, salaries, general sponsorship, events, administration, uniforms/ sports kits or for items already purchased / work already carried out.
