Manchester Airport offers a wide range of location filming opportunities, including the opportunity to hire a number of retired aircraft at the Runway Visitor Park.

In addition to our three busy terminals, the airport complex includes a number of other potential filming locations, including: offices, car parks and hotels, Business and Executive Lounges, Retail Outlets, Departure Lounges, Check-in Halls, Bus / Coach / Train station & Airfield and Terminal Exteriors:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 The Runway Visitor Park 

 Retired supersonic airline, the iconic Concorde G-BOAC - now permanently situated within her own purpose built aircraft hangar, complete with moveable access steps and replica runway markings on the tarmac beneath her wheels:

The front section of a DC-10 airliner - the interior remains in a similar layout to when the aircraft was operational as a holiday charter aircraft. The flight deck is also accessible upon request and retains the majority of its original operational features:

This 'retro' Hawker Siddeley Trident airliner is preserved to its former glory of the 'golden age' of air travel in the late 1960s, 1970s and early 1980s. The aircraft retains the majority of its original features when it would have the capacity to fly around 180 passengers before it retired in 1985.
