Must see:
Watch the island’s community of Basking Sharks – the second largest in the oceans - on sunny, calm days from May to August at Calf Sound, Port Erin, Niarbyl and Peel Breakwater.

Grab a bun on the run when you’re out and about. If the weather’s good enough for alfresco dining, you’ll find the crab baps from the kiosk on Peel Quay fit the bill perfectly.

In late May and early June, the island fills for the century-old TT race, and it’s quite a sight. Grab yourself a prime viewing spot... grab a camera... and hold on tight.
Well-travelled tips:
Seek out an authentic pint of Manx beer and you won’t be disappointed. Local purity laws limit the ingredients to water, yeast, hops and malt.
If you’re travelling from Douglas to Ramsey, don’t miss the chance to travel on the historic Manx Electric Railway which uses tramcars from the 1890s.
