If you’d like to mark something other than the opening and closing parties of the Superclubs, The Santa Eulalia Fiesta, on the first Sunday every May in Santa Eulalia, commemorates an ancient church legend. Today, it offers locals and visitors the chance to enjoy a beautiful flower procession and parade of floats.

Well-travelled tips:
· There’s much more to Ibiza than its non-stop party image... for an alternative take on island life, check out the hippie market in San Carlos on Saturdays.
· If you’re travelling between the main towns by taxi, don’t forget to agree the fare in advance. Expect to pay between 20 and 30 Euros.
