Prepare to take off on our Easter Fun Tour

Back by popular demand, book your children on to the Fun Tour this Easter!
Children taking part in our Fun Tour will have the opportunity to board a real aircraft, whilst learning about the different job roles that help ensure that Manchester Airport runs smoothly 365 days of the year. Around 1 hour of the tour will be held in the cabin of our Monarch DC10 aircraft.
The remainder of the tour takes place outside at the Runway Visitor Park where we will spend time on our viewing mounds to observe the aircraft taking off & landing on the runways in front of us, movements on the airfield and visit some of our own aircraft housed at the Park.

Pay & View - £3.00 per person 

This Easter we will be offering you the opportunity to spend some time in the Concorde Hangar to photograph our beautiful aircraft. N.B There will be no access to Concorde or the undercarriage. This is subject to availability and must be booked at the Runway Visitor Park Reception.


"Easter Eggstravaganza"

Why not join us for a 20 minute Short tour of one of the most iconic aircraft of all time over the Easter holidays? A fully guided tour, you will spend 10 minutes on Board Concorde where you will hear some interesting facts and figures about Concorde and a little about those who flew on her, before continuing your tour underneath the aircraft where you can take in how awesome Alpha Charlie truly is. From 1st April to 12th April tours will be buy one and the second person goes half price, so even more reason to make your Easter supersonic.

Easter Sunday

The Concorde Restaurant & Coffee House will again be offering its fantastic Carvery menu on Sunday April 5th, with a range of starters and desserts to compliment our wonderful roasts.

Easter Sunday Menu


Leek & Potato soup with rye bread
Chicken liver pate, balsamic ,onion chutney and rustic bread.
Classic prawn cocktail with tangy marie rose sauce and wholemeal bread
Main Course

Roast beef
Honey glazed ham
Slow roasted pork belly
All of the above are served with duck fat roast potatoes, Yorkshire pudding, seasonal vegetables, stuffing and gravy

Roasted Mediterranean vegetable strudel with a tomato and basil sauce.
Apple and berry crumble with custard.
Chocolate cheesecake with Chantilly cream.
English sherry trifle.

Prices are £11 for 2 courses and £14 for 3 courses. Children under 10 eat for half price.

And don’t forget, during the Easter holidays there will be the Avro RJX and either the Trident or DC10 open to the public for free viewing.
