With airline displays and specialist aviation videos, an airport tour a great place to begin discovering the airport. We also have a range of Concorde tours which range from 40 minutes to a full days tour to discover the amazing aircraft.

Option 1– DC-10
The forward section of a retired Monarch Airlines DC-10 airliner has been converted into a state-of-the-art ‘aviation classroom’, complete with seating, cockpit and audio-visual kit. With a genuine ‘on-board’ feel, it’s a popular educational resource for school parties.

Concorde Tours
Manchester Airport’s supersonic superstar, Concorde G-BOAC, loves being the centre of attention. You can now get an insider’s view of the world’s favourite supersonic jet on a whole range of guided tours, and even tie the knot on-board.

Option 2: Terminals 1 and 3
Our most popular tour is a 2-hour visit to Terminals 1 and 3, making it ideal for all sorts of educational and community groups, from schools to Rotary Clubs. This tour is not suitable for children under the age of 4.

Option 3 – Birthday Party Tour
Specially designed for children aged 5 to 12, this behind-the-scenes tour takes two hours and includes an optional Burger King meal.

General Terms
1. Payment is required at least 7 days in advance of your visit, together with confirmed numbers.

2. You are free to amend your booking arrangements up to 48 hours before your visit.

3. Refunds can be made up to 48 hours before your visit. A non-refundable administration charge of £25 will be made.

4. All charges include VAT.

5. All children are the sole responsibility of their accompanying parent, guardian or teacher.

6. School parties must have adequate supervision at all times.

7. Tours are restricted by the Civil Aviation Authority to landside areas.

8. The Tour Centre is accessed by 22 stairs. There is no lift at present.

9. The guide’s presentation is protected by personal copyright.

10. The consumption of food and drink is not allowed in the Tour Centre
