A new restaurant, The Real Food Company opened in October 2007, as part of the redevelopment in Terminal 1.
The Real Food Company is an exciting place to eat and will meet the needs of people in a hurry as well as those with more time to spare. There is plenty of choice from indulgent treats to healthy salads , juices and smoothies. There is something special for everyone, for the airport's regular business travellers and especially for families.
An on site bakery prepares freshly made cakes, muffins and a chocolate table with a five storey chocolate fountain as the centre piece for dipping fruit kebabs or croissants; the deli counter serves freshly made fresh fruit and vegetable salads and specialty bread sandwiches as well as juices and smoothies.
The great British Breakfast is freshly cooked in the HOT HOT HOT kitchens and Roast Rib of Beef with Yorkshire Puddings will provide a great choice for lunch along with traditional favourites like freshly battered fish and chips, Lancashire hot pot and chicken jalfrezzi.
Service times are fast with coffee and tea taken at a time that suits you and good value too with the opportunity for free refills.
