You’ll find official short stay parking in the multi-storey car park next to each terminal, meaning it’s only a few minutes walk, all under cover, to check-in.
Short stay car parking is only provided by Manchester Airport itself and is the perfect mix of speed, convenience and security. All our short stay car parks are Park Mark Accredited for your complete peace-of-mind.

Exit the M56 at Junction 5 and follow the signs to your terminal, then the signs for short stay parking.

Entry Procedure
To enter Short Stay Parking, at the barrier control panel simply insert the credit or debit card you used to make the booking. This will confirm the booking and the barrier will lift automatically. Please be sure to bring your email confirmation or booking reference with you.
Exit Procedure
At the exit barrier, insert the same credit or debit card used on entry, into the control panel. The barrier will then rise.
Minimum Stay
Must be pre-booked for a minimum stay of 2 days which must include a Saturday.
Height Restriction
Maximum vehicle height 2.0 metres (6 feet 6 inches)

Trailers are not permitted
Disabled Drivers

Additional Information
If you arrive or depart outside your booking period, you will incur an additional charge based on Manchester Airport’s standard short stay tariff, which is published on this website.
