Manchester Airport goes smoke-free early
All landside areas at Manchester Airport went smoke free on Monday 14 May. As of this date, passengers wishing to smoke will be directed to use designated smoking areas outside the terminal buildings and will no longer be permitted to smoke inside the concourse areas.
In line with the new law, the whole airport became smoke free on 1 July.
The new external smoking areas will be located outside Terminal 1 Arrivals, Terminal 2 Arrivals and Departures and Terminal 3 ground level doors.
