You can take advantage of duty free shopping if you are travelling to the following NON EU countries:

We are not restricted as to the amount of products we sell, but passengers are advised to consult the duty free allowance charts situated in the duty free shop. These charts list limits for all non-EU destinations.
Via the EU
If you're flying via a EU airport to a country outside the EU (e.g. Manchester to Johannesburg via Amsterdam), and you are in possession of a boarding card for your final destination, you can still buy goods at duty free prices at Manchester Airport.
