Reception to Year 9

School visits from Reception up to and including Year 9 classes

The 2-hour visit will spark the children’s imagination as it includes:

The chance to go on board an aircraft and for the children to sit in the Captain’s seat.
Role play to include Captain, Cabin Crew, Air Traffic Controllers and many other activities associated with the airport and planes.
Depending on the age of the group, a chance to see a PowerPoint presentation on the history of flight from the first hot air balloon to the latest super jumbo – the A380.
If you make passports at school, we will stamp them with our passport control stamp so don’t forget to bring them along.
We will take them to see Concorde in its special hangar so long as no other event is taking place such as a conference or corporate meeting. Other historic aircraft are on site which can be seen close up.
Watching the planes take off and land on the runways from the various raised mounds which offer unrivalled views.

The cost of the visits is �6.50 per child.
