From immersing ourselves in the school curriculum to spreading a bit of seasonal cheer, Manchester Airport is working to play a full and proactive part in our community. Here’s just a flavour of what we’ve been up to recently…

Ringway Primary School Art Day
Pupils from Parklands High School were given the opportunity to project manage Puppet Day at Ringway Primary School in Wythenshawe. The Parklands High School pupils were mentored by the Community Relations department and assisted on the day by volunteers from across the airport.

Annual Food & Craft Fayre
Children from local schools came along to entertain visitors to Manchester Airport's Food & Craft Fayre, bringing a touch of festive cheer to hundreds of staff, passengers and residents who flocked to this popular annual event.

Pupils are rewarded for good attendance
Manchester Airport run an attendance scheme with local schools; ten primary and two high schools. Pupils collect stamps in special Passports for each week of school that they attend and they a receive a combination of certificates, badges and stickers for each half term of school that they attend.
