Are there any parking restrictions?

Our car parks have a height restriction of 2.0 metres (6ft 6in) excluding Long Stay, JetParks 1,2,3 and JetParks Plus car parks. Trailers are not permitted in any of our parking facilities.

At the car park what should I do?

If you have pre booked follow the instructions as detailed in your booking confirmation.

If you have not pre booked you can either take a token on entry and pay at the pay stations in the terminal buildings when you leave OR insert your credit/debit card at the exit barrier. The card will be automatically charged with the correct amount.

Can I park for less than the minimum stay?

Go to our pre-bookable parking information pages and use the left hand navigation panel to find out about our different car parks. Minimum stay restrictions are listed in the "Additional Information"sections at the bottom of each car park page.

How are parking charges calculated on this website?

Pre booked parking is charged per day or part thereof. For example if you are travelling on a Monday and returning the following Monday you will be charged for both Mondays.

All prices shown are in GBP and include VAT at 20%.

Car parking charges will also vary according to:

  • The time of year
  • Location in relation to the terminal
  • How far you book in advance

How do I amend my booking?

Amendments to the dates of stay are subject to the terms and conditions of your booking. Advance and Early Bird products are not amendable.

For other bookings you may amend your booking up to 24 hours before your car parking is due to start. Amend your booking online or call 0871 310 2200*.

Please note if you booked during a sale or at a lower price and that rate is no longer available the new rate will apply.

How do I cancel my booking?

Cancellations are subject to the terms and conditions of your booking.

For other products, cancellations must be made at least 24 hours prior to your scheduled car park arrival date. A 7.50 administration charge will be levied and deducted from the refunded amount. Bookings made less than 24 hours before departure cannot be cancelled and are not refundable.

All bookings cancelled within 24 hours of the car park arrival date will not be refunded.

How late can I make an advance booking?

Bookings are accepted up until 6 hours before arrival.

I have a blue disabled parking permit. Where should I park?

For customers wishing to turn up and park, please follow the signs for your terminal and then for long or short stay parking. All car parks have disabled bays clearly signed. For long stay car parks a regular bus service operates and the buses are DDA compliant.

I have a car parking question that is not listed. Who do I contact?

I have booked parking in advance. What do I need to bring to the airport?

All you need is your booking confirmation e-mail or 48 hour email reminder. This will help you get to the correct car park and also has your reference number in case you need to speak to a member of staff.

I have some questions to ask before I make a booking. Who do I contact?

My vehicle details have changed. What do I do?

You can amend your vehicle details free of charge up to 24 hours before your parking is due to start. Please call 0871 310 2200*.or amend booking

What are the differences between our car parks?

All our car parks are on site and are managed by Manchester Airport. However, the price can vary dependent on availability, car parking facilities and distance to the terminals. View information on all our car parks at a glance to decide which one is most suitable to your needs.

What happens after I have made my booking?

You will receive an on-screen confirmation which details your booking reference and instructions. Please print this page for your records as you will need this information at the airport.

We will also send you a confirmation email, failure to receive the confirmation email has no bearing on the status of your booking.

What if I have pre-booked and my vehicle is not recognised by ANPR?

If your vehicle has not been recognised, please scan the QR code on your booking confirmation, which looks like this:

If QR code is not recognised, or you do not have a QR code please press the intercom button.

What if I return later than the date on the booking?

You will be charged for the additional days at the standard turn up rate. Please refer to the terms and conditions on your booking confirmation.

What is Auto Number Plate Recognition (ANPR)?

Auto number plate recognition is used for pre book customers only. If you have pre-booked your parking , drive up to the barrier, once the ANPR technology has recognised your vehicle, you will be issued a token and the barrier will raise so you may enter the car park.

What is Credit Card Recognition?

Some car parks use a system called Credit Card Recognition to allow you to enter and exit the car park. Your confirmation page will contain instructions for your relevant car park. All you need to do is enter the credit/debit card you used to make the booking at the car park entry barrier before parking your car. On your return insert the same card that you used to make the booking into the exit barrier.

What payment methods are accepted for pre-booking?

We accept PayPal, Visa, MasterCard, Delta, Maestro, American Express, JCB, Electron and Solo for pre-booking. We are unable to accept any other form of payment via this website.

Where do I park if I’m collecting or dropping someone off?

Information on picking up and dropping off passengers.

Why is there no availability for the dates I am trying to book?

This could be because:

  • You are trying to book for less than the minimum stay (usually 3 days)
  • The car park is fully booked for all or part of your stay
  • You do not meet the booking conditions for that product
