Must See:
Forget the Little Mermaid and take a trip across the Oresund Bridge – the world’s longest border crossing – which links Copenhagen with Malmo in Sweden... a real engineering feat.

Must eat at:
Brunch is an essential part of Copenhagen life, particularly at weekends. Cafe Sommersko on Kronprinsensgade has two brunch menus on offer.

Must be there for:
Early July’s the time for one of the legendary stops on Europe’s summer festival circuit. Roskilde is a just a short 22 mile hop from Copenhagen... make the trip and you get treated to a host of top names on six different stages. Let’s rock!

Well-travelled tips:
Copenhagen’s diverse nightlife doesn’t really get going until after midnight although most clubs are only open from Thursdays to Saturdays.
Mid October sees Kulturnatten when a whole range of amazing buildings open to the public for one night only – be part of it with a multi-venue ticket for DKK 70.

Visa:
British citizens do not need a visa to visit Denmark.
