Hat trick success for MAN and double award with for EMA at the British Travel Awards!
Thank you to each and every one of you who voted for us at the British Travel Awards this year. We are absolutely delighted to announce that Manchester picked up no less than three awards at this year’s ceremony. As well as securing the title of UK Airport of the Year, Manchester also won Best Major UK Airport, Silver in the category of Best Airport for Business Travel and Geoff Muirhead, Manchester Airport Group’s former CEO, picked up a Lifetime Achievement Award for his services to the industry.
Praised for its improvement to operations, commitment to sustainability and excellence in customer service, Manchester Airport secured the wins ahead of other airports including Gatwick and Heathrow.
East Midlands Airport was also crowned Best Regional UK Airport and picked up Bronze for UK Airport of the Year!
Securing the title ahead of London City Airport and Liverpool Airport, this will be East Midland Airport’s third travel trade award in just three months – a massive achievement I’m sure you will agree.
Not only is all of the above testament to all that Manchester and East Midlands have achieved as airports, but is undoubtedly a reflection of your unwavering support and loyalty. It’s your votes that continue to help us achieve year after year, and we cannot thank you all enough.
