By car:

By bus/coach:

By rail:

Get off to a flying start before you board the plane by catching the train direct to the heart of Manchester Airport.

Frequent direct services run to and from Sheffield, York, Newcastle, Leeds, Huddersfield, Bolton, Preston, Blackpool and the Lake District. These services, operated by TransPennine Express and Northern Rail, run 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

To speed your way to cities further afield, there are up to 6 trains an hour linking the airport to Manchester Piccadilly station in the city centre.

By taxi:

It’s easy to take a taxi to Manchester Airport or arrange for one to collect you on arrival. Taxi ranks can be found just outside all three terminals, making it simple to find and arrange a cab.
