Relax on glorious beaches, explore ancient attractions and soak up the famed Greek island ambience, we have a great range of holidays to Rhodes from Manchester. One of the island’s major draws is its delightful beaches and coastal culture, with Rhodes an excellent spot for leisurely days in the sunshine. Capital Rhodes Town, Lindos with its overlooking acropolis and Kalithea are among the island’s top sandy stretches. There’s lots of great ways to enjoy the surrounding ocean - take a relaxing dip in the crystal waters, get your snorkeling gear on, or plunge deeper into the depths on a diving trip. Surfing and kitesurfing are also popular in Rhodes, particularly in the south of the island. Gennadi Beach and nearby Prasonisi are great for surfing, and the area’s coastline in largely unspoilt. If you're looking to hit the sightseeing trail then head to Rhodes Town and its lovely old town area, which once played host to the Colossus of Rhodes, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Other notable sites include Acropolis of Rhodes and its Temple of Apollo, and the Palace of the Grand Masters. Should your trip to Rhodes be based on a good old knees up once the sun goes down, then stay in lively Faliraki, the island’s nightlife capital. There’s a long sandy beach equipped with plenty of tavernas, lots of watersports and other activities to get involved with, and of course an array of buzzing bars and clubs.
