Ibiza has a great position off the east coast of Spain, sheltered by both mainland Europe and North Africa. Take a look at our holidays to Ibiza and look forward to visiting this exciting island in the Balearic Sea. One of Ibiza’s major draws is of course its iconic nightlife and there are some famous clubs across the island for you to check out once the sun goes down. You don't need to wait all day to get into the party spirit, though, as you can head to Playa d’en Bossa and hit the array of sunny beach bars. There’s lots happening at capital Ibiza Town, which is nice and close to the airport. It includes an interesting old town that’s great for a wander and boasts a collection of interesting little shops. The capital’s great for nightlife, as is popular San Antonio on the west coast. If you’re looking for a slightly more relaxed trip then head to Playa de Talamanca, where there’s more of a hippy vibe. If this is your kind of thing then make the trip to Cala Benirrás to the north of the island and watch the sun go down with the accompaniment of beating bongos. There’s plenty to do in Ibiza besides partying the nights away. It’s also gaining popularity for its relaxing yoga retreats that are set in peaceful countryside. Have the best of both worlds and split your time between the clubs and the cobra pose. Then of course there are the beaches, which are not to be missed however you plan on spending your holiday to Ibiza. Cala Xarraca is a gorgeous white sand effort in the north, while Cala Jondal is in the south west.
